About Membership
Kirkwood Swim Club is a not-for-profit organization. The club's singular goal is to provide a safe and affordable pool for all the members to enjoy as described in detail in the documents and forms section of this website.
Membership in the pool is limited. There is a wait list to join, but priority is provided to households located within the immediate neighborhood. Membership purchases are generally transacted in a private sale from the old owner to the new owner. The Membership Officer maintains the wait list and will facilitate and record the transaction.
Members pay quarterly dues and are treated like fractional owners of the club. Members are asked to volunteer one Saturday per year to clean the pool and also in early May to prepare the pool for opening.
Five pool club members volunteer their time as officers in the functions of President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Membership. The officers represent the interests of all the members and manage the day-to-day operations of the pool. Our Officer's names and contact information can be found in the newsletter.
