How to Join
Step 1: Learn About Kirkwood Swim Club
Kirkwood Swim Club is a not-for-profit organization. The club's singular goal is to provide a safe pool for all the members to enjoy as described in detail in the documents and forms section of this website.
Membership in the pool is limited. There is a wait list to join, but priority is provided to households located within the immediate neighborhood (specifics available upon request). Membership purchases are generally transacted in a private sale from the old owner to the new owner. The Membership Officer maintains the wait list and helps to record/facilitate the transaction.
Members pay quarter dues and are treated like fractional owners of the club. Members volunteer one Saturday a year to clean and prepare the pool for opening.
Five pool club members volunteer their time as officers in the functions of President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, or Membership. The officers represent the interests of all the members and manage the day-to-day operations of the pool. Officer name and contact information can be found in the newsletter.
Step 2: Call the Membership Officer
Download one of the newsletters and call the Membership Officer and they will help you secure your spot on the waiting list.
